Balance is the word that define the project, which achieved total harmony between all the spaces it contains. The stone, wood, concrete and glass are the materials used.
A garden that enters the house with all its glory, a house that fits into the landscape as if it were part of it and an interior garden, as an agora, distributes all the spaces are key to the success of this project.
This house is divided in two blocks on one level: the area day and night zone, which contains the rest rooms. Enter both, is a large pool and garden, as an agora, distributes all the spaces according to their uses. Both blocks, one with sloping roof and the other with flat or inverted, embrace the useful area of the plot and make a building open, bright, fresh and current.
The project has responded to four clear objectives: some isolation from the streets, privacy with respect to the neighbors, a good orientation of the rooms and a total connection between interior and exterior of the house.
For this reason, the building is subject to its exterior with a good distribution and through the large windows that surround the house and which give the rooms in light and spectacular views.
The materials used in construction have been the cornerstone Pulpis, Ipe wood, concrete and glass trowelled. While not the most widely used Pulpis stone is the most powerful because it gives visual weight in the highlights of the project, as the dining room and garden.
The stone is a stone Pulpis type marble, gray or dark brown and very smooth surface. Exists in small quantities and is extracted in the Castellon town of Santa Magdalena de Pulpis. It is an ideal stone for indoor or outdoor temperate. It is elegant and very personal.
The second protagonist is Ipe wood, found in the whole terraced house in the area of access to housing and in the hallway parallel to the garden, which leads to the rooms. Trowelled concrete has been used as a basis for building structure, and treated glass that covers the various openings of the building seeks a great deal of natural light to interior spaces, while allowing it to open the garden.
The space around the pool is furnished with a table and two chairs of Gandia Blasco sun umbrella and a Odosdesign. Under the porch is placed a set of tables and chairs, also of Gandia Blasco allowing you to enjoy at any time during a cookout, at his side, is a large sofa with chaise longues and a table specially designed for outdoor the same firm. The gardens that complement the space are Plastiken and pavement around the pool, Fusteria Castelló.
The pool, which features a discreet and natural colors, is located in the garden in front of the block containing the living area. One end is extended to form a sheet of water that divides the building and leads to a patio created with the intention of maintaining a total connection with the garden and enjoy nature in a more intimate level.
