Casa Del Pico was desined by ÁBATON Arquitectura.
“The surprising drop from the street to the bottom of the land required to build a house on two floors. The presence of granitic rock helped conceive two floating structures on the stone itself. To capture the geometry of the rock, the bottom of the pool is irregular and imitates the forms of granite on which it is located.
The ground floor was designed to be more in touch with the outside and the garden was designed more broadly. The upper floor, where the sitting area and children, joined the pool. On the living room, terrace overlooking the mountains and the city hosts a very deep bench work that serves as a defense. All rooms of the house are distinguished by the difference in height in floors and ceilings.” [abaton.es]
