Satellite Coffee is a coffee shop located on University Boulevard in Aluquerque, designed by Edward Fritzgerald Architects.
“Satellite Coffee on University Blvd. in Albuquerque, NM was designed to fit into an existing shopping center. The new paradigm was to break the confines of the existing box with subtle angles that enliven the composition, creating dynamic space. Interior / exterior relationships were stengthened by recessing the entrance wall into the building envelope to create a wider outdoor seating area. Rusted steel siding creates a new facade element that overlaps the glazed entrance wall and provides space for signage. Colors and materials were chosen for the interior to create a warm informal environment.” [efarchitects.com]
